Christmas tree worms at the Similan islands

A favorite subject for underwater photographers, the Christmas tree worms (Spirobranchus giganteus) can be found on the heads of the massive corals at the Similan islands. The two chromatically multicolored spirals are highly derived structures for feeding and respiration.
